The installation of two 5kW turbines due to be connected to the National grid in the NEDL distribution area. To supply the needs of a Farm and Two Holiday Cottages.

{Ave wind speed 6m/s. Expected Annual Production 20MW ROC = 40 @ £43=£1720/ann.

Npower Juice pay 10p/Kw hour Exported. which would mean annual income from them of £2000/year. total £3720/year.

Your Project Explained

As can be seen from the diagram the wind turbine is connected through a system of Controllers which convert the electricity produced into a form that can be utilised by a direct grid connection through your current supply cable through a total generation Meter which will determine the Import / Export of Electricity Generated. The main components after the Turbine are the Converter and Inverter controls and the Total Generation Meter.
